Ceremonial space holding
Big transitions in a woman's life, or rites of passage, used to be collectively acknowledged, not only leading to a more integrated experience for the woman herself, but also bolstering the health of the wider community. The way the 'initiated' was welcomed back into the group was an indication of how their new identity was culturally valued and it offered a blueprint of how to navigate life's next chapter. Although to this day, many indigenous cultures still honour their rites of passage, in Western culture, most have been lost. Women cycle through death and rebirth in many ways, throughout their lives, and most of them are doing this completely alone.
I believe in the power of being witnessed, as we make our way through life. I believe that in acknowledging and honouring the changes in our lives, we can live more intentionally, purposefully and joyfully. Most of all, I believe every woman is deserving and worthy of, and in need of, celebration, support and sisterhood.
Whatever transition you are going through, whether it's becoming a mother, moving house, grieving, marriage, separation, inner transformation or anything else you are navigating right now, why not truly acknowledge it? Why not mark it in the way women have marked these changes for thousands of years?
I offer bespoke ceremonies, in the comfort of your home or in my carefully curated space, in which I combine ritual, craft, meditation and any other elements, according to your unique preferences and needs.
So you don't have to cross life's thresholds alone and you can embrace change with intention and in community.
